"Shake It Up" Dance Cover

Hello! One of the members of DreamCatchers, Pat, decided to do a dance cover of Kis-My-Ft2's "Shake It Up" during her semestral break. It's a solo project of hers so she did everything from the choreography (though she did use the same steps as the original version) up to the video editing. Of course she did ask help from other members of DreamCatchers as she can't dance and hold the camera at the same time!

Anyway, I sent Pat some questions via e-mail regarding her dance cover and here are her answers:

Is this your first time to do a dance cover?

Yep.

Why did you choose this song?

First of all, my bias group is Kis-My-Ft2 :3 and when I first watched their PV of “Shake It Up” the first thing that came to my mind was “I’ll definitely gonna dance this one.”

How did you feel before your shoot for this cover?

I was so excited.

How did you feel after your shoot for this cover?

Happy. *laughs* I felt complete coz I think that my life would not be complete if I wasn’t able to dance this one. *laughs*

What was it like when you finally watched the finished dance cover?

FAIL video editing.*laughs* But still it was great coz I was able to express myself through this dance cover even though I wasn’t that satisfied.

Do you have more plans in the future to do other dance covers?

Definitely yeah. Promise to do better and my next dance cover maybe would be this Christmas break, hopefully. Still hoping and praying. *laughs*

Message to those who have watched your dance cover?

Thanks for those who liked it even if it was my first and even if it was kind of a fail dance cover. Hope that you’ll still watch my next dance covers. For those who didn’t like it, well, I don’t care. *laughs* I don’t live my life to please all the people around me, I live my life for me to enjoy every single of it by following what I wanna do.
